Stage painting for Flow Festival, 2023, 2019, 2018 and 2014
I had the pleasure of contributing my paintings to the Flow Festival across several editions.
Being part of the festival allowed me to connect with new artists from the local scene, exchange
experiences, and expand my work to a wider audience. Working within this context also enabled
me to explore new scales, new dialogues, and new energies within my practice.
I am deeply grateful to everyone who shared images of the work on social media over the years.
In 2023, it was especially meaningful to see the paintings resonate so widely, including a
moment when former Prime Minister Sanna Marin shared a photo of herself in front of my
artwork.
I remain thankful for the continued trust, the years of collaboration, and the ever-evolving
environment in which these works have come to life at Helsinki’s largest music festival.
